Wizard Of Oz Syndromes
They seem to be everywhere
It’s like a tale of two stories.
Some of my friends know that very few people are magical.
Most of us are human.
And we know our limitations.
But other of my friends - often the ones I see online - believe in the magic of persons of authority.
Yes, sometimes high positions mean high knowledge and skill.
But sometimes it doesn’t.
Just because the Wizard Of Oz was behind the curtain didn’t make him more powerful. It just gave him the perception of power to others.
We must learn how to teach others the humanity of all of us.
None of us are perfect.
And if we view some folks and being too perfect we may make some really bad decisions.
How do you talk your Wizard Of Oz friends off the ledge?
