Shanghai Style Lockdowns Are Allowed By Current Florida Law
Only the State Health Officer and Governor are keeping your free
Recently on Tucker Carlson Tonight a guest talked about how they are trying to pass laws in Washington State and New York that would allow lockdowns like those happening in Shanghai. She and Tucker seemed to think that was controversial.
NEWS FLASH: We already have those laws in Florida.
Florida Statute 381.00315 says the State Health Officer can force persons in Florida into quarantine and isolation against their will during a public health emergency if they believe it is necessary for public health - and use law enforcement to carry it out.
Additionally the statute states the State of Florida can force individuals to be examined and tested against their will.
One step farther Florida Statute 381.00315 says the State Health Officer can force individuals to take treatments against their will.
Like the other provisions of Florida Statute 381.00315 discussed here the State Health Officer can use law enforcement officers to carry out the forced treatments.
Even with the November, 2021 revisions to the statute the State Health Officer can take these actions on his/her own for 60 days without any other approval. To take these actions beyond 60 days the consent of the Governor is need.
According to the written law in Florida the only thing keeping Floridians from state mandated quarantines/issolation/examinations/testing and treatments is our current Governor.
Should the Governor ever change these laws could be used the next day.
Why haven’t these laws been limited or repealed?
