Let’s face it – most politicians are more concerned with getting (re)elected than with medical freedom right now.
For a few of them medical freedom is one of their core positions in their campaign. But for most it’s a passing thought.
And from what we hear most of them wouldn’t want a special session on medical freedom.
So if they don’t want to address an issue important to you, what do you do?
You take the issue to them.
Many of these politicians will be out campaigning. They might be doing events, going door to door or appearing at dinners.
Each time the politician is out in public you have a chance to meet them.
Being respectful it’s a great time to air your questions about medical freedom.
Things like:
What have you done for medical freedom?
What bills will you sponsor for medical freedom?
Will you promise to meet with advocates for freedom - regularly - after you are (re)elected?
Most politicians won’t want to deal with these issues. But you - and your friends - can make this part of the conversation.
