As we are doing our work to better the world we must have goals, principles and a culture to guide our decisions. We must stand consistent on our requests and wants based on principle that is well estabily.
People will learn what we want - and expect - if we stay consistent.
One basic principle that the American Freedom Information Institute, Inc. follows: We believe our rights to make our own medical decisions for our bodies supersedes any government control on our bodies or medical care.
We also must have a consistent culture. I believe the culture we have shown so far consists of us being reasonable and grounded - based on fact and principle.
This allows us to stand on high ground even if we don't align with parties or groups on everything.
The fight for medical freedom is a long battle.
It’s tempting to make each decision on the fly.
Support this. Oppose that.
But if we want to be known for something - and we want others to do what we want when they can’t talk to us - they need to know what we stand for without asking.
